As far as founding stories go, we have a pretty good one.
Ascend Sports Publicity was born in a quiet garden café in Paris as an idea between three friends waiting out a Roland Garros rain delay. We were in Paris undertaking different media roles as part of the French Open - a sports agency publicist, a social media creator for tennis brands and a sports journalist.
As we drank countless espressos, we had a bold vision: to do sports publicity differently.
There was no business plan. No logo. Just the clarity that athletes deserve more than just media coverage they can’t control. They deserved strategic, authentic support that elevates their voice, grows their brand, and sets them up for long-term success.
That founding moment in Paris became the blueprint for Ascend Sports Publicity, now a full-service sports PR agency specialising in media, public relations, brand and strategy for professional athletes, coaches, sports agencies and brands.
